ampMeasure is a macOS application for controlling QuantAsylum QA402/QA403 audio analyzers, developed by Richard Klingler, Switzerland.
The short version: ampMeasure collects no data. None.
The app
• No accounts. ampMeasure has no sign-up, sign-in, or user profiles.
• No analytics or tracking. The app contains no analytics frameworks, no crash reporters that phone home, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party SDKs.
• No network access. The app makes no network connections of its own. The only external links (help pages, this policy) open in your browser at your request.
• Your measurements stay yours. Measurement data, calibration readings, and settings are processed on your Mac and stored only locally — settings in the app's preferences, measurement logs inside the app's sandbox container, and exports (CSV, PNG, sessions) only in locations you explicitly choose in a save dialog.
• Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the Mac App Store. We receive no personal information about buyers.
Because the app collects nothing, there is nothing for us to share, sell, retain, or delete.
This website
ampmeasure.com is a static informational site. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical server logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) for security and operations; these are not used to identify visitors.
If you contact support@klingler.ch, we receive what you send us and use it solely to answer you. Support correspondence is not shared with third parties.
Legal basis and your rights
We aim to comply with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the EU GDPR. Since the app processes no personal data, the practical scope of these rights within the app is empty — but for any personal data you send us by email, you may request access, correction, or deletion at any time using the contact below.
Changes
If a future version of ampMeasure ever changes any of the above (for example, an optional update check), this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be called out in the app's release notes.
